Club member Kim Hissink will give a presentation about The Salvation Army program, Pantry34.

 

Kim Hissink is the Fundraising & Public Relations Coordinator for The Salvation Army – Abbotsford/Mission. Her role is diverse and includes working within the community to build partnerships, steward the donor base and event management.

Kim has been a member of Rotary since 2007 – she was a member of the Abbotsford Sumas Rotary Club for 8 years and held many board positions including President in 2013 – 2014.  She joined the Abbotsford Rotary Club in 2018 and has enjoyed getting to know the members and working alongside them on many worthwhile community projects and events. Kim is a Paul Harris fellow.

Kim has two amazing children, Lisa and Austen, two step children Sean and Sarah, and 3 beautiful grandchildren – Tyler, Colten, and Chloe. Kim and hubby Roy have been married for 15 years and enjoy volunteering and travelling whenever they get the opportunity. 

Kim looks forward to continuing to serve the community through the work of Rotary and to share what The Salvation Army does and exploring ways to partner in community wide programs such as Pantry34.
