Following, Stacey went on with excitement and passion to introduce this year’s Rotary International theme “Rotary: Making a Difference”. “It’s my pleasure to be your President and I look forward to working with such an amazing diverse group of dedicated Rotarians who work hard together for the betterment of our local community and humanity as a whole” said President Stacey. She went on to say, “I love the quote by Mary Kay Ash, who said “there are three kinds of people in this world: those who make things happen; those who watch things happen; and those who wonder what happened” and I am happy to be part of a Rotary Club that is made up of people who make things happen.” President Stacey challenged each Rotarian in the room to help make things happen this year. She said, “Now…let’s go and make a difference in the lives of others and our community; this is what Rotary is all about!”
